Making Candy

Today I taught my grandma how to make candy. We had fun!

My Monster

I like to draw pictures of monsters. My mom took one of my monster drawings and stitched it on a sweatshirt for me. She said it was fun to make. She just used the zig-zag stitch on her sewing machine to draw a copy of my monster. I like it!!!

Learning To Crochet

I am learning to crochet. It is hard but I will keep trying and then someday I will crochet like my Nana Ellie!

Behold My Bounty

I have my grandmothers green thumb. I can grow anything. I planted tomatoes in very rocky soil when my mom wasn’t looking. I used a spoon to dig out the rocks and make a hold for my plant. Now my tomato plants have more tomatoes than my moms! I also grew some zucchini and peas and cucumbers. I love cucumbers but not zucchini.

Play-Doh

I like Play-Doh a lot! Look I made me.... but the Play-Doh me has a blue face and yellow hair. That's okay because it is art. Sometimes art does not look like the real thing.

Today after school we had to go run errands. My sister (another red head but not so crafty) and I were good for mom so we all went out to Wendy's (another very cool red head!) for lunch. I got a really fun prize in my kids meal. I got an Audiobook. It is a book called Dinosaurs Before Dark by Mary Pope Osborne. The book came with a little paper dinosaur that I had to put together. It is a lot of fun to put together!!

Pajama Day

Today was Pajama Day at school. My mom made some pajamas for me and my friend Jodi Giraffe. My new pajamas have yummy treats all over them and the pocket says “Sweet Dreams”. Get it??? I had fun at school and we ate donuts and chocolate milk!!
